Welcome to the 860i site!

Yes! My beloved 860i is for sale.

You all are probably asking why I am selling this wonderful and rare car. Well!! If you know me from all the BMW forums, you know that I enjoy the journey of taking on 8 series cars to the best possible condition.

Now that my 860i project is done, I want to venture into a different project (Ed you ready?). This project will be a 850 CSL. In order to embark on this project, I will need the proceeds from the sale of my current E31.

The price I am looking for is $45,000.00. The current mileage on the car is 144,076 miles but the engine and the suspension has less than 5K miles. The transmission conversion was done from a CSi and has 29K miles on it. The differential with the 3.15:1 ratio was rebuilt by Jim Blanton less than 5K miles ago.

This car is Rare and unique. The regular BMW 850 had the 300 HP 5.0L M70 V12 and the 850 CSi had the 392 HP 5.6L S70 V12. This car has the 6.0L conversion done by PowerPlant Racing. Now the 6.0L M70 V12 pushes out 455 HP and 505 ft-lbs of Torque. It has more torque at 3500 RPM than the 2008 ///M6 has at it's peak. This car will blow the doors off the 850 CSi and walk away from Aston Martins. The car has Schrick Cam Shafts, Phoenix Motorsport Lightweight Flywheel and Spec High Torque Clutch to out accelerate anything in it's class and beyond.

The car also have every possible suspension upgrade to out-corner ///M5 and ///M6 Including the KovSport Gen I K-Bars and H&R Bilstein Combo. It also have the Euro CSi Floating Rotor braking system that will stop the car from 80 MPH 12' shorter than the standard US CSi brakes.

The car also have the full CSi spoiler system inclusive of the Euro CSi Sport mirrors. It has all updated lighting including 5000K HID low beams and PIAA auxiliary lighting. The paint is original and has no flaw.

For the music lovers, this car has a 440 watt stereo system with MB Quartz component speaker system, JBL Subwoofer and Alpine Amplifier. The Head unit is a Panasonic system with Aux input (IPod or other MP3 Players), Bluetooth and detachable faceplate.

The car has been my baby and has just too many things to list.

In this website, I tried to include as much information possible about my car. However, the Roadfly archives has historical details about this car and my journeys. Please feel free to contact me with any additional request for information.

All tax, inspection and shipping of the vehicle is the Buyer's responsibility and cost. There is no warranty for this vehicle expressed or implied.
